Apartment located at the beach
Our penthouse in Torre del Mar is located in an authentic coastal town on the eastern side of the Costa del Sol. This is between Málaga and Nerja: the Axarquía. The ‘Axarquía’ is the triangle Málaga-Alfarnate-Nerja. It is the region in southern Spain known for the mangos, avocados and papaya. Unsurprisingly, this tropical vegetation is cultivated all throughout this area. There are more than 320 sunny days a year and the climate is among the best in Europe. The bay of Torre del Mar is very long and offers views from Málaga to Torrox.
The area is surrounded by many high mountain ranges. These offer a double advantage: during the summer months the mountains keep the scorching heat out from the warmest Andalusians cities, such as Sevilla and Córdoba. On the other hand, during the winter the peaks stop the icy cold from the inland, coming from Sierra Nevada and the Sierra de Las Nieves.
